about jessica trippe:
Jessica Trippe is the Principal and Design Director of Ink & Oak. She earned her BFA from the California College of the Arts (CCA), graduating magna cum laude. Fresh out of art school, she worked at a San Francisco wine bar where the wine-by-the-glass inventory was displayed behind the bar. She observed the impact of product design, noting that quality of the juice aside, customers simply wouldn’t buy wines with boring or flat-out ugly labels. Ink & Oak grew from the practical, real-time demonstration that product packaging that makes people want to buy is as important to success in the marketplace as crafting a wine that people want to drink.

Where We Are:
Founded in 2007, Ink & Oak is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District. The studio shares space with FFDG, a contemporary art gallery owned and operated by Jessica’s husband, John Trippe. Proximity to California’s stellar growing regions and the work of world-renowned artists makes for heady creative cross-pollination!
